'Night At The Museum'
A night to learn about us - what we're doing what we're collecting and how we care for the collections. And plenty of time for some 'mix'n'mingle'!
Time & Location
27 Jul 2024, 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm
The Charlotte Museum, 1A Howe Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland 1010, New Zealand
About the event
Join us to celebrate the first Queer History Month in Aotearoa this Hōngongoi. Learn all you ever wanted to know about who we are, what we’re doing, what we are collecting, how we take care of everything and see a few of our favorite things! The night includes guided tours of our behind-the-scenes spaces, a ‘show and tell’ of collection items and Sarah Buxton giving a (short!) talk about the work of the museum and answering questions.
Tickets: $35 for in-person attendance which includes nibbles. A cash bar will be available.
If you can’t be here in person you can still attend this event! If you live outside of Auckland have a cozy night in or watch with a group of friends. Tickets: $15 for an online live stream of the collection ‘show and tell’, the talk and question time (approximately 45mins) and access to a short video of the behind-the-scenes tour.
Tickets available via EventFinda.
